Club Professional

Andy Zodin has been the Director of Tennis at Green Gables Country Club since 2005. He was a Texas Longhorn from 1979-1983, and has been a USPTA Certified "Pro-1" teaching professional since 1984. As a player, his most recent rankings were #2 in Colorado in Men's 45 and over singles, and #1 in the doubles, in 2009. Andy coaches the boys and girls teams at JK Mullen High School, and he is also the host of the award winning, "In the Tennis Zone" on Mile High Sports Radio am 1510, Colorado's only all tennis talk-radio show.

Joe Edles is also a USPTA "Pro-1" teaching pro, and is the most recent professional to join the GGCC staff. His impressive career includes being an All-American team captain at SMU, while the Mustangs were one of the top 5 teams in the country. Further, he was president of the USPTA Intermountain division, and was USPTA Intermountain "Pro of the Year" in 1994, during a 21 year stint as Director of Tennis at Pinehurst Country Club.

Joel Klatt joins GGCC as our new co-director of the GGCC Summer Junior Sports Camp. You may remember Joel as the star quarterback of the Colorado Buffaloes from 2002-2005. He also spent three years in pro baseball, in the San Diego Padres organization, and was a star point guard at Pomona High School. Talk about an all-around athlete, Joel is now a single-digit handicap golfer, and GGCC is thrilled to have him on board, working with the kids in our Sports Camp. Joel is also a well-known sports-talk radio personality, hosting the "Klatt and Kreckman Show" on AM 1510, every Monday-Friday, from 3-6pm.
